萌~~Moe~~??

Heard an explanation of Moe by a non-japanese otaku, let's do some listening practice here:

A: Patrick...Moe? What is that?
B: It's a very mysterious concept. Let me see if I can explain this correctly. Literally it means blossoming, or sprouting, like a flower from a bud. But the kind of moe you get from the maids is more mysterious, more intangible kind of feeling. It's kind of like an overpowering cuteness that warms your heart. You can get this from kittens. You can get moe from anime characters. And you most definitely get it from cute girls who serve you cafe and cakes and call you master.

萌本來是指草木初生之芽，但是後來日本御宅族和其他的動漫喜好者用這個詞來形容極端喜好的事物，但是通常都是對（尤其是動漫的）女性而言，因此，萌え(もえ)現在也可以用來形容可愛的女生。現今，樣貌可愛、討人喜歡的男性甚至非生物也可用這個詞來形容。

林毅夫將成為下任World Bank Chief Economist, WSJ作了以下說明:
He was born in Taiwan and earned a master's in business administration from National Chengchi University in Taipei in 1978, the year that mainland China began its market-opening overhauls.
The next year, Mr. Lin, then serving as an officer in the Taiwan army, left for rival China. Numerous published accounts over the years have said Mr. Lin defected by swimming to China from the Taiwan-controlled island of Quemoy, also called Kinmen. Mr. Lin went on to study at Peking University, China's top university. He earned a doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago in 1986, becoming one of the first students from China to complete such a degree in the U.S. during the reform era.

軍人多的地方，就有兩樣東西會特別多：飲料店和雞排店
戰地風光：小金門繞一圈，沿路有已撤軍的據點和湖井頭戰史館；西北方有古寧頭戰史館和北山古洋樓；東北方是馬山觀測所，5分鐘就逛完了；中山林紀念公園有舊營區改裝成的展示區，還會放敵機臨空的音效，有點好笑；最後就是太武山上的毋忘在莒，弄在那麼高的地方難怪沒什麼人來；自然風光：雙鯉濕地，風獅爺，閩式古聚落

深坑-石碇-坪林-瑞芳 (63)
雨天中的虎頭蛇尾之旅，攻克一連串的髮夾彎到了坪林後就開始下雨，然後又是一連串山路，到了十分車站又什麼店都沒開，只好放棄，勉強到了瑞芳，雨越來越大，只好速速回家

火車之旅：松山-福隆-雙溪-侯硐-菁桐-八堵-松山


先吃個福隆便當...侯硐和菁桐都留下了過去開採媒礦的遺跡，糖業和礦業都是過去產業轉型下的沒落產業，以前經濟史的課程好像有提過相關議題??

清泉崗空軍基地開放參觀，但天氣不佳，原訂的雷虎小組和單機性能操演都取消了，結果...活動主軸變成飛官合照簽名會...剩下就是在台中市走了2個多小時，把台中市解決了，照片是已除役的F-104，遺憾沒看過活的F-104
